Command Reference Guide Enable Mode Command Set

clear host [ * | <hostname>]

Use the clear host command to clear a hostname when using the Domain Naming System (DNS) proxy.

Syntax Description

* Clears all dynamic hosts.

<hostname> Clears a specific host name.

Default Values

No default value necessary for this command.

Applicable Platforms

This command applies to the NetVanta 300, 1000R, 2000, 3000, 4000, and 5000 and Total Access 900

Series units.

Usage Examples

The following example clears all dynamic hostnames:

>enable

#clear host *
